The game has more than 140 characters from the Marvel universe. Players are able to create, and have an online or cooperative game, for four players. In Arcade mode you must obtain the highest number of deaths to obtain experience points at the end of the level. There are also special comic missions that are obtained with "simulative discs", returning to a moment in the past of a character in which he faces a classic rival. The characters can use up to four suits, which can alter the character's stats.
