The Blades of Time star is a female bounty hunter named Ayumi who is transported to Dragonland in search of unimaginable treasures. He soon realizes that Dragonland is a hostile world ruled by a demonic being aiming to wipe out all the bounty hunters that lies along the way. Armed with a pair of swords, Ayumi is in charge of overthrowing the evil lord and escaping as his combat and magic skills evolve. The game is developed in a 3D stage that Ayumi has the possibility to explore. On his way he encounters different creatures and challenges that he has to overcome. Thanks to the special double-hinged system, Ayumi defeats the hundreds of enemies who stand in his way, while developing the spell-learning path that provides him. The spells are based on both the Chaos and the Order, including the possibility of turning back time and fighting along with herself. The Rewind Time function sends Ayumi to an earlier point, which allows her to help herself to fight or solve puzzles, leaving the items useful for later times. Blades of Time Dragonland is a game full of traps that the player must avoid while learning the different abilities that the scenarios provide. The game is played on snowy terrain, in temperate jungles, decaying cities and islands in the sky. Each scenario brings something new and pushes Ayumi to learn to develop new qualities, while a second player has the possibility to intervene through the co-op mode.
